What’s Kettlenetics ?

Category: Uncategorizedadmin @ 9:06 am

Had 6 emails this morning asking me if I know anything about Kettlenetics. Being a sort of health and exercise freak myself, I honestly can say I have never heard of Kettlenetics. Having said this, I tried doing research on the exercise science and couldn’t find much online either. So I asked around, people I met at various gyms I have worked out in over the years. They know I do all kinds of research on just about anything so were happy to help. Here is what I found out:

Kettlenetics is a workout program that uses a weight called a “Kettle weight” or kettlebell. Kettle weights are just like what they sound, a weight that looks like a kettle. It looks almost like a cannon ball with a handle, and is usually cast iron. Strong men used kettlebells over 100 years ago, kettle weights have become once again popular especially in martial artists, military, law enforcement, and fitness training. These weights build amazing stamina, and endurance if used properly. Due to the peculiar shape of the kettle weight, it teaches the user how to control the momentum in ways that mimic the dynamic movements of real life bodily functions, these functions can not be easily mimicked with dumbells, barbells or machines. Below is a picture of a woman doing Kettlenetics:
