The Pittsburgh Penguins has astonished fans and the Redwings themselves. In Game five, facing elimination, Petr Sykora scored the game winning goal past goaltender Chris Osgood and the Detroit Red Wings in the 3rd overtime of Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Final score was 4-3, Penguins. Game 6 of the Stanley Cup will be Saturday night in Pittsburgh. If the Penguins can win that game, we are in for one heck of a game 7, and in My opinion the momentum will be in Pittsburgh favor. The Red Wings were trying to close out the series at home with a 3-1 series lead, wanting to take the drama out of winning their fourth Stanley Cup in 11 years, but they failed in a heartbreaking 6 period loss. Has to be a downer for them.
