This is some breaking news about the 14 year old girl, Heather D’Aoust who was accused of murdering her 56 year old mother by beating her in the head with a hammer. Heather is expected to be arraigned in San Diego Superior Court on Thursday, said Paul Levikow, spokesman for District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis.
It is not 100% clear what exact charges D’Aoust will be charged with, but prosecuters will be looking to go with the most serious possible charge. It saddens me to think how a 14 year old could do such a terrible act of hate to the person who is responsible for her living in the first place. To kill someone is the worst possible crime anyone can commit, but to kill a parent is almost inconceivable unless that parent was abusive. Neighbors and friends say that Rebecca D’Aoust, Heathers mother was a sweet woman and great parent.
