Well I was reading Yahoo’s front page earlier and found out about this relatively new website called Facestat. At Facestat.com users are provided an interface similar to hot or not, however instead of rating fellow users from 1-10 on a hotness scale, you do more then just that
Facestat asks users to answer questions about the photo. “Is this Person Attractive?”, “How old does this person look?”, “What race is this person?” etc. It’s really fun, if you don’t mind finding out what others truly think about you. There is even a question asking users to describe the person in the photo in 1 word. As Users at Facestat.com rate and answer questions about other members they earn points so that they can add additional questions to their profiled picture.
The site at this moment is loading very slow, however that is because of the recognition it got earlier today by the world #2 most visited website, Yahoo. “Market research for the individual” is Facestat’s tagline.
