Well, The Detroit Red Wings won Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals Last night against the Penguins by a score of 3-2. This was the Red Wings 11th Stanley Cup victory in the Detroit Teams cherished history. The Red Wings won Cups in 1997, 1998, 2002 and 2008, which is simply amazing if you consider the fact that close to 25% of the teams current roster was with them all 11 of these years in which they won 4 cups.
Tomorrow, Friday June 6th, the City of Detroit will host the Stanley Cup Victory Parade said Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick. It’s scheduled to start at 11 a.m. and will end with a rally at Hart Plaza a few hours later. The Entire Parade can be watched on WXYZ.com or any other local Detroit news stations.
