Guys Just wanted to let all you Call of Duty fans out there know that NVIDIA has finally released the version 1.6 Patch for Call of Duty 4, Modern Warfare. The 1.6 patch can quickly be downloaded at: http://www.gamershell.com/download_27186.shtml
This new PC patch includes four new maps (Creek, Chinatown, Broadcast, and Killhouse), hardcore and oldschool server browser filters, as well as a fix for a Denial of Service attacks that have been bogging down the Call of Duty servers. The Patch also has every fix from patch versions 1.1 to 1.5 to date. But note that this is not the official release of patch version 1.6. This is a package designed specifically for members of Club SLI at NVIDIA.
With this in mind, be wary of updating to version 1.6 yet, however, for playing online with 1.6 requires that the servers update to patch 1.6 as well. Custom servers will most likely be updated. If you wait a few weeks the final version of the Call of Duty 4 Patch should be released, which will be a bit more error free, if there are any errors to begin with.
