Eddie Murray Almost Ended Cal Ripken’s Consecutive Game Streak

Apparently according to this picture, Eddie Murray came very close to ending Cal Ripken Jr.’s consecutive games played streak before it could even get started. All baseball fans know that Cal Ripken Jr. holds the record for the most baseball games played in the history of the game. He played 2632 consecutive games, breaking the record formerly held by Lou Gehrig. Imagine if the streak had ended because he accidentally got punched in the face by Eddie Murray during pre-game warmups! Well it looks like that almost happened…..
