Usually I ignore Multi Level Marketing programs because they end up being part scheme, part business opportunity. Having said this, I was recently told about The Trump Network located at TrumpNetwork.com. What immediately made me take note of this program was the fact that Donald Trump is actually involved in it. Because of this and the fact that I have had numerous inquiries about the MLM I decided to put together a Informative post with everything you need to know about The Trump Network in one spot:

What Exactly is The Trump Network?
Although we still don’t have the entire details of this multi-level marketing program, we do know quite a bit. The program will go into pre-launch mode sometime in June of 2009. It will remain in pre-launch mode for at least 4-5 months and finally launch in October of 2009. It is fully backed by Donald J. Trump himself, the real estate mogul, reality TV star, and billionaire himself. This venture will incorporate the company that Donald Trump partnered with in March of this year called Ideal Health. They have agreed to rename Ideal Health “The Trump Network”, and move forward with a multi level marketing setup by Fall. Ideal health is a unique vitamin shop which customizes vitamins for each of it’s clients. It does this by giving each client a metabolic test to determine which vitamins and minerals are lacking in their body. I’ve personally read a lot about this company and the product/service they offer, and walked away pretty impressed. Here is a quote from the Ideal Health website overviewing what the company is all about:
Ideal Health is the only company in America that puts the power to regain nutritional balance and restore metabolic health back in your hands. We are the only company where a team of PhDs and other health experts looks at specific metabolic markers in urine, saliva, or blood spot sample, and then utilizes a database of over 100,000 patients and over 30,000 scientific nutrition studies from top research institutions to develop unique customized formulas for baseline nutrition and other health concerns.
Nothing stands still. Everything in the physical world is in a state of constant change. In terms of your health, this means that at every moment in time, your body is either moving toward health, or away from it. If your body is experiencing a metabolic problem caused by nutrition, the longer you wait to address it, the more serious it can become.
Ideal Health can put your mind at rest. Our uniquely affordable metabolic tests can point out where problems may exist, and our targeted nutritional supplements can help turn your body back toward health and keep it there. Remember: every day you wait may be compounding a problem you could be solving.
Here is also some basic information on the Company itself:

Significance of a Trump Endorsement
Clearly a man like Donald Trump does not associate his name with things he does not feel strongly about. The very fact that he is all over this MLM’s marketing campaign at such an early stage shows me that he is extremely confident in it’s success, as well as it’s product. This also will give a tremendous amount of credibility to the Multi Level Marketing Industry in general, which has been clearly hurt by the various schemes and scams that have scared away so many people. If Trumps Network is a success, it will be huge. On the other hand, if it flops, Donalds reputation could take quite a severe hit.
My Opinion on Trump Network
It’s hard to give a fair opinion on the TrumpNetwork, since it is not even in it’s prelaunch mode yet. Having said this I do think this will become a major player in the MLM world. Donald Trump is a household name, when you hear “Trump” you immediately think of “money”. In fact “trump” has actually become a verb in the English language. With his marketing power, his know how, and a product that I believe is unique and innovative, this MLM just may become a household name in itself. As more information is made available, I will add to this fact sheet, and make sure you all stay up to date about the Trump MLM, as it is being called.

This is the reAl deal, we have been building this for under a month now and the enrollment ratio is through the roof. I have been to The Trump Network now twice, spoken with the owners, understand the comp plan, and know the magnitude of Trump’s involvement with this. The people that pass on this one will be kicking themselves for many years to come. Just my opinion, but a very educated one. I was recently interviewed on a radio show about The Trump Network: http://www.byoaudio.com/play/WXVTBHQX

I have been doing Internet business for 20 years and this is the first MLM I joined up with. I know nothing about Trump himself … but I know in business his name is a trademark.
WHAT I DID WHEN I HEARD ABOUT THE TRUMP NETWORK:
- Searched the Internet to see if it was a SCAM.
- Then I asked for more information.
- My first question was – WHAT is the products?
I was looking for something in the news and for sure it was not MLM. I just do not like the idea of being way down someone else’s totem pole.
When I heard about the Trump Network Pre-launch I started doing research. If it was a SCAM the Internet is quick to flag it in millions of places, even small ones. But in my searching I did not find the first thing that said this was a SCAM.
The Trump Network is very reasonable to get you in, ONLY $30 plus tax and you can start selling the products and promoting the Network with commissions.
The products Trump Network is presenting by a company Ideal Health are just a little on the high side. But what I can tell they are very high tech, and with the worlds concern on health and Donald Trumps name behind it … I have no doubt I can sell the products.
The Trump Network acquired Ideal Health, a custom vitamin, supplements and nutrition company.
“Ideal Health’s breakthrough PrivaTest . . .” Takes the confusion out supplementation once and for all. No longer do you have to guess which nutrients you need from a bewildering variety of “in-vogue” or “one-size-fits-all” supplements.
The new company will be called The Trump Network and will be officially launched October 2009, according to The Trump Network website.
I am a hard sell … do not take my word for it do some research of your own. Check out some INSIDER materials I already uploaded to the web site. The Network leaders do not normally give this info out, selling technique of keeping the buyer wanting more. BUT I believe a well informed buyer is a happy customer.

Everyone seems to be caught up on the Trump hype, it will last for 6 months and is good for the industry but the $$$$ is made from the product not from the celebrity. I sold custom nutrition through urine analysis into the Wellness Professionals and long term it is hard work. Look at the sales of Ideal health over the past 5 years. Once the hype goes it is the product that will stand alone and there is nothing exclusive, patented with what you are offering. What makes you different is only Trump and you do not make residues on his mane.

Andrew,
You may be right that everyone seems to be caught up on the Trump hype, but that’s a bit premature to say that it will last only 6 months.
And your well sought-out research was a personal experience selling the same “type of products” So if it’s all about the products, then you’re saying that McDonalds’ hamburgers must be the best hamburgers in the world? Since they sell in the Billions (I think they’re in the Trillions now).
Anyway, I respect your opinion and you are correct at the end and that is: It’s all about personal hard work and duplicating that to your team, regardless if leveraging Trump’s name or not.

Marc,
I agree with you working hard and duplicating the systems the Trump team has in place will create long term leveraged income. The reason Ideal Healths sales have been slow to reach the popular growth stage is because, mostly health and nutrition professionals were selling the products to their clients. The general population hasn’t heard about affordable testing and customized customization of vitamins. The Trump brand is huge and will take the company to a Billion $’s in no time at all. Trump Vodka is the number 2 selling brand in Russia, so I say to Andrew, wait and see.

Ive been in MLM for 8 years, I recently left from that company and joined Trump. I had great success with the other company until 2 years ago when the founder passed and then the product/developement leader left. Trump is very much the real deal! I know what to look for in a company and these guys are going to put a new face on MLM business with their brains and Trump’s money this companies web technology they are getting ready to launch in incredible. When this is launched other companies are going to be scratching their heads saying WOW how did they do that!! This is one of those moments where you better step up and take hold. You will be sorry if you dont that is a promise!

Using Trump’s name to recruit people into your downline is a good marketing strategy. However, just because Trump is running this thing doesn’t mean that you will make any money. If you want to “do what Trump does” then you’ll have to own your own MLM business, not become someone’s recruit. Yes, you can make money with MLM but sell it for what it is: A recruitment business. To make money, you have to either personally recruit or someone in your downline has to recruit. We all know this but how many people tell their prospects what this business is really about? The more people are upfront about network marketing, the less of a bad reputation the industry will have.

Somewhat informative. But, I am curious…what college did you attend?
Contrary to your claim, the verb “trump” is not a recent addition to the English language. See the facts below.
The word “trump” derives from “trionfi” or “triumph”, documented as the name of a card game in 1529 and which spawned the game Ruff and Honours, which in turn led to Whist.[1] Trionfo was also the name of the original card game for which tarot cards were designed, and in it the tarot cards had the role of what are now called trumps; later card game rules were designed to use one of the ordinary suits as a replacement for the tarots when a tarot pack was not available.
