We had twenty plus emails this morning from people wondering which major stores are opened on Christmas day, today. Although most mom and pop stores are closed for the holiday, there are quite a few major corporate stores looking to take advantage of the situation, thus opening their doors on Christmas.
Here is a quick list. Feel free to leave comments and add any more stores I maybe have missed:
Dunkin Donuts
Starbucks
Flying J
Best Buy
K-mart
Circuit City
7-11
Circle K
CVS
WalGreens
Rite-Aid
Shoprite
Foodtown
Safeway
Ralphs
Publix
Fridays
Chili’s
Blockbuster
Have a Merry Christmas, and remember to drive safely if you are traveling to any of these stores.
We just got this in from our Music department. Beyonce has released her newest Music Video called “Diva“, which is off of her new “I Am… Sasha Fierce” album. Thus far the early reviews of Diva have been mixed. Many fans of Beyonce are saying her last few music videos topped this one and that “Diva” is not all that original. Personally I don’t think Beyonces latest song lives up to its hype, however that may change once I heard it a few hundred more times. Below is the video in its entirety.
Feel free to leave comments with your opinions on this video in the blog comment section below. Does “Diva” Live up to its hype, or has Beyonce underperformed this time?
If the losses of over $50 billion was not enough to make Madoff look like some kind of scheming monster, then this surely will. Reports say that Mr. Thierry Magon de La Villehuchet had invested as the founder and Co-chairman of Access International Advisors in excess of $1.4 billion into Madoffs $50 billion ponzi scheme.
Today, December 23rd, 2008, at approximately 7:30 am Police were called to his Madison Avenue office in New York City, New York, where they found him dead, in what looked like an apparent suicide. Thierry Magon de La Villehuchet was 65 years of age. What a tragedy only two days before Christmas.
Access International last week called Madoff’s arrest “shocking” in a note to their many investors. Investors in the fund included a unit of Rothschild and several clients of the Swiss bank UBS.
Being a straight guy, I can’t really say much about this topic, however the internet has been buzzing about the new photos of Barack Obama shirtless. Obama spent a few days in Hawaii with his family last week, and has spent time on the Island vacationing in the past. Here are a few shirtless Obama photos we were able to pull up.
Note that Obama is not the first President to be photographed without a shirt on. Others were Ford, Clinton, and Reagan. Obama thought seems to be in the best shape of the 3, but also is the youngest at the time.
Now only if Mr. Obama could get the rest of America to stay in as good shape as he is at 46 years old. Maybe we should all pick up a basketball, like Barack does in his spare time.
