A drug bust happened this afternoon in Manalapan New Jersey. Seven people in a drug ring were arrested including Vicente Esteves, 35 years old , and his wife Chantal, 30 years old. The Bails for the two above individuals were set at $10 million and $5 million respectedly. Authorities stated that Vicente Esteves was involved in a drug ring in which he and associates smuggled drugs into the country on commercial flights from countries including Mexico and Colombia, and delivered via ground transport to New Jersey, Florida and Georgia.
They said that Esteves house was very similar to that of the famous Scarface movie, with giant walk in closets with literally hundred of $1000+ shows. The Associated Press informed us that the drug smuggling operation was bringing in close to one million dollars every single week. For over 14 months this small community of Manalapan was the focus of a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, as detectives matched wits and used patience to compete against high-level drug trafficking suspects, authorities stated.
