If you haven’t heard of Alisha Dean yet, then get ready. In the next couple days the media will be swarming around this story. For those who don’t know, Alisha Dean is the 13 year old girl who is responsible for putting 2 relatively innocent men behind bars on statutory rape charges. She basically entices men in their early twenties to get close to her. She used to claim on her Myspace page that she was 19 years old. Right now as you can see from her Myspace page it says she is 16 years old. To the one man she claimed she was 23. The latest conviction came to 22 year old Morris Williams, who was sentenced to 1 year in prison after he had sex with the minor. Morris had sex with Alisha Dean thinking she was over 18, then when he noticed by her behavior that she was probably younger, he immediately went to Deans father. Dean’s father called the police right away. Alisha is responsible for putting another man away for 5 years doing the same thing. Darwin Mills, 24, was sentenced to five years for sexual battery with the then-twelve-year-old Alisha as the victim. Mills said he didn’t know how old she was, either. You tell me, from this picture, she certainly looks over 13 year old:
Jerry Dean, the father, openly admitted that Alisha continues to stay out late and hadn’t deleted the Myspace that listed her as an adult. Even now, her private page says she’s 16 years old, three years older than she really is. In my opinion the parents should be going to prison while the convicted men should maybe get probation. What are your opinions on this Story?

Besides, having sex with someone generally incurs talking to them. If you’re 20 years old, you can’t tell the difference between talking to a 13 year old and an 18 year old?

Thank God her parents are so responsible for roping the little whore in. Good parenting skills! Keep pushing for her to get out and meet some older guys. Maybe she’ll screw one with money so her parents can get a sweet settlement out of it. Why not? It’s American, home of the easy money.

It’s dumb, but i guess it’s the law, she obv. doesn’t look 13 and also doesn’t really look like a woman. Regardless though, u think dude get some leway since he went directly to the father to come clean let him know whats up. But father seems like a bigger douche then the girl. He probably coulda kept his mouth shut and if she was pregnant deny it and leave her alone, and just felt dirty for the rest of his life.

I think this girl should be sent to juvenile detention at the least. Maybe a little time in jail would be better-you know give her time to think about what she has done to these men. She should be banned from myspace, facebook, well any free webpage that permits individuals to post profiles for the rest of her life. I have worked with many abused children & youth, but never ran into one that so cunningly abused adults. Actually, never met one that abused adults. This girl needs intervention now.

Releash the men and expunge their records. Trust me, if not, they will be on Megan’s List for the rest of their life.
I have said for years that “little” girls who lie age, namely lying that they are of the age of consent are SEXUAL PREDATORS themselves and should be locked up and put on Megan’s List…period!

Defending adults who should have had some responsibility and blaming a troubled child, you are sick sick people. I hope you are never left alone with anyone’s kids. Because god forbid they play dress up, because then you can use the excuse, “they looked older” to get away with rape.
Haven’t guys learned by now not to get with young women without checking their age? Oh wait, they can’t because they had sex after like 5 minutes. But I’m sure the 13 year old with all her experience was the one who should have used the better judgement. That’s a disgrace. These men should be released. The only thing our system knows what to do for men is to throw them in jail. Women’s sexual liberation has backfired into teen-girl promiscuity. Many females are promoting themselves as sex objects willfully and very publicly. This girl has some major issues – sexual addiction for one – what 12/13 year old wants to have sex with a 22 year old – EWE!!! Yuck. And, Myspace is for people 16 year and up first of all. She is on it specifically to deceive – and her parents need to turn the Internet off. Your kid has done the same thing under your nose twice -you seem to have no responsibility. Just keep putting the fellas in prison. It’s a shame that the now jailed had to tell this girl’s dad and he still couldn’t get up the gumption to TAKE DOWN THE MYSPACE. – The girl is the offender – not the men – throw her in jail, get her some treatment, or put an ankle bracelet on her.

There are many many problems here. First of all, I’m a parent of 17 year old and a 12 year old daughters. The 17 year old has a myspace, and I check it out once a week. She is not allowed to have anything but her true age on it, and no reference to her name/school, or other identifying info. Her profile is also private. Even though it is private, I have asked her to remove photos where she or her friends are dressed or posed a little too provacatively for their ages. The twelve year old is 2 years away from even considering having a myspace page, and just like her older sister, that page will be monitored by a parent.
I’ve been around teenage girls now for several years and there are several who if I didn’t know better I would think were several years older than they are.
That said, I believe the young man who went to her father, should be commended, not jailed. He obviously thought he was with a much older girl, and when he realized he wasn’t, he tried to warn the parents because he saw the danger her bad judgement would cause. For him, I would give him a pass. The girl commented a fraud of her own identity on him. I can’t comment on the other guy because we don’t have any other information.
Lastly, the girl needs a lot of help. As do her parents. She is obviously out of control and needs help. Any parent who would allow a 13 year old child to create a public myspace that portrays her as anything but a little girl, and potentially opens her up to abuse, deserves a jail sentence of their own for child neglect. Rather than focus on their daughter’s promiscuity and getting her the help she needs, they chose to focus on locking up men who were taking in by her con.
To those people who say the men should have known she wasn’t 18, let me remind you, there is often very little difference between a 13 year old and an 18 year old, emotionally and mentally. There are a ton of immature 18 year olds out there and until you know them for some period of time, you may not realize what their true age is.
