The famous Blackwater WorldWide, a subsidary of a US military contractor has reportedly purchased the 314 B1 Super Tucano Fighter Plane from the Brazilian aviation company Embraer. Of course you all remember the company Blackwater who is famous for its extremely controversial killings on Iraqi soil by its employees. The Brazilian government has not commented on the sale as of yet. Blackwater President Gary Jackson’s spokesman confirmed the sale of the aircraft and that it would be used in training exercises only. The plane is the same as is used by the Brazilian Air Force, but the dual 0.50 caliber wing-mounted machine guns were removed.
Thanks to products-reviews we were able to obtain some of the stats of this Super Tucano Fighter plane. The 314 B1 Super Tucano is grey and black in color and is propeller, not jet, driven which if you look closely looks pretty similar to that of the World-War 2 fighter plane, the Embraer EMB 314 Super Tucano which is also named ALX or A-29 is a turboprop aircraft designed for light attacks, and pilot training missions. The weight and relatively slower speeds of the aircraft make it ideal for student pilots. Currently it is being used by the air forces of Brazil, Colombia and the Dominican Republic and now Blackwater Worldwide has it.
