Tropical Storm Alma

Well Guys and girls, we have our first tropical storm of the Pacific Tropical season. The Tropical depression off the coast of Pacific Central America has officially been updated to Tropical Storm Alma. A Tropical Storm Warning has been issued from Costa Rica to El Salvador. The projected path of the storm takes it to Nicaragua later Thursday Afternoon. Current sustained wind speeds of Alma are at 45 miles per hour and are expected to increase by landfall. Experts predict as much as 20 inches of rain may fall over parts of Central America. The flood damage will be the main concern, and may be severe. Experts do not think it will become a hurricane before landfall however.
