Karen Allen, the 58 Year old Actress who starred in movies such as “National Lampoon’s Animal House,” “The Wanderers,” and A “Small Circle of Friends,” has been getting more and more into Fiber art. Fiber art is a style of fine art which uses textiles such as fabric, yarn, string, and natural and synthetic fibers.
In June of 2005, Karen Allen opened her own store at 35 Railroad St. in Great Barrington, Mass. where her entire collection is available along with the work of other artists and designers she admires. I would personally say that her artistic skills in clothes making are just as good if not better then her acting skills. Below is just one of her recent pieces of work.
