i know heather i waslocked up with her shes really sweet she says that she has 2 personalities and she was under the influence she says she loves her mother she misses her she said that her mother didnt except her that she had a girlfriend i hinestly think that there are no excuses 4what she did but we r all human and we all make mistakes. so please stop saying stuff about her!! and its not fair i mean what if u were her situation? put your feet in her shoes

I am best friends with one of the sisters and some of the comments really bother me on here. Heather knew she was adopted from day one and that was never a problem or an issue. The night before this happened her and her parents went to a movie and came home. When one of the sisters came home Heather and her parents were sitting by the fire playing a board game. She knew what she was doing, mental illness aside. She admitted to it and a friend admitted it. Becky was one of the most amazing people I know, a second mom to me. I spent so much time there and it is so strange going there without her home. Please say your prayers for Jim and the other two daughters.

Mental illness comes in many shapes and forms. Heather came from a good home, but unfortunately was a very ill young lady. Mental illness can be very unpredictable especially as a child navigates through the teenage years. This family deserves our utmost respect and compassion including Heather, the child who has committed this terrible act. Do not ask why and how this happened because oftentimes, there is no why and how with mental illness. Despite the treatments we now have, there really is no magical panacea or cure for many types of mental illness. Conditions can improve therapy and meds, but certain illnesses don’t go away.

I can’t believe some people,it’s not bad enough heathers in juvi hall but her mother is gone an dall people can do is talk about things that are disrepcetful to anyone including me since i am adopted.
I will support teh d’aoust family my own way, i hope heather gets teh ehlp she needs, i feel for her father, nobody deserves this.Adoptees are being sterio typed and mental illness or how bad is always hidden in adoption believe me, my bm was mentally ill an dmy parents never kenw, i found out after 37 yrs ,i am not nor ever have been ill my older sister is, between depression to out bursts thats why we don’t talk.
I don’t know why heather would of doen what she did unelss her illness took ove rher instead of her controling it,i pray every night for teh family,stop judging ro assumming.

She’s known she was adopted since elementary school at least. She was friends with my sister and told my sister she was adopted so I doubt that bothered her.

I knew Becky and James D’Aoust.. They were regular customers at the Italian restaurant they frequented. They were just in last week. Becky was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. Both James & Becky were always pleasent and smiling.. I can’t believe that this happened.. She will be truly missed..

i know this family. heather was a moody little girl. her mom was a complete doll n didnt abusive anyone. heather always knew she was addopted. please respect this family n their time of grieving.

and stop spectulating about why this happened or whos to blame. a family is destroyed and jus give them support.

Becky D’Aoust was a wonderful parent she loved her girls and gave them a great life – how could this happen…There is no way that there was ANY abuse on Becky’s part, and heather new she was adopted from an early age – and that she was very loved… thoughts and prayers to her family GOD BLESS

Mercy Mercy Mercy, tears and heartbreak, prayers and love and more mercy, my heart breaks for the pain of all involved in this senseless tragic sitution that has brought forth such intense loss. Mercy, Mercy, Mercy…Family, all of you, my deepest prayers as I attend daily Mass and pray the Holy Rosary for all of you. It is everything that I can give to you all, in this so sad time.
