I was in Hilton Head South Carolina Last Month and forgot to post this review once I got back because I was way too busy. Anyway we stopped off at a restaurant called Dye’s Gullah Fixin’s.
If you love true Southern soul food, Gullah’s is the place. We (My wife and I) ate here this on April 8th 2008 and thoroughly enjoyed the cooking and the company of Dye herself. Dye was extremely friendly and great to chat with. I could have a full meal of Dye’s sweet onion pie, but had to save room for the Fried Catfish! The price was very reasonable, and the bill for 2 people was just $44.00. If I am ever at Hilton Head again I will without a doubt stop in to see Dye ocne again. Next time I’ll probably get what my wife order, the cabbage with shrimp.
