I think it makes it all the more comical (either for the proverbial “put your money where your mouth is” (seems like some of those less well…shall we say…educated take it literally) OR that it’s because that’s probably how they go about getting it.)

This is a rather unnecessary comment-fight. I would when it comes to the extremely over-hated Tom -who probably didn’t put forth the effort to make those fake names that he is assumed to have hid behind- disagree that it’s black culture, but I would also say that if these people want to have pictures with money coming out of their mouth, they should be allowed to without inciting endless online ridicule. Maybe they are making a comical pose to make their friends laugh. The language, it’s just what some people think is modern internet vernacular. Also the reason that a preponderance of people on myspace select 250,000 or higher is because it’s one of the few income settings that you can put up if you are too lethargic to figure out how much you make in a year, seeing as most teenagers don’t have an annual wage. There are -I beleive- four options, and they’re basically lower/middle/upper-class financial barometers. It’s just like many people are 99 years old, or are from Mylifesux, Guatemala. They aren’t claiming to make that much money, it’s just not disclosed. Then again I’m not really a huge fan of making fun of people, so I apologize if I’m a buzzkill.

It’s amazing that you chose one white guy and the rest black ones. It’s also interesting that you thought that blacks are the only ones that take idiotic pictures of themselves in less than complimentary situations; don’t you know that EVERYBODY does this? I’m sure you have some of them also; you just didn’t put them on the Internet.
Does that make you brighter or smarter than anyone else. I think not; you’re just having more fun at other’s expense, that’s all.
BTW, if you didn’t know it, most blacks are bilingual within the English language; speaking a language that most blacks understand and appreciate while giving the white culture fodder for making fun. If that’s what you want to do, go ahead. That doesn’t make blacks ignorant, just more likely to speak to the environment within which one is operating.
Just so you know, everybody does, speaks, thinks, acts, and behaves DUMB at sometime in their lives. You may not have far to go to know this experience yourself. Just look in the mirror.
As for the $250,000.00 income, EVERYBODY wants to and pursues making more money. The Holy Bible say “call those things that are not as if they are.” It just seems to me that that’s a good salary that most of us would like to have.
Someday, those who are calling it may just end up getting the $250,000.00 salary that they are calling into existence. I just hope that it will be legitimate.
Whatever the case, free speech is still a part of the American dream, even if you don’t agree with what is being said or how it is being said.
